Re: Communist Saboteurs Shut Down Pipeline, Gas Prices Soar

I find it interesting that lost in this is that for decades the people who work at high levels of security have said that the lack of internet safety by companies is lacking and it's only a mater of time. Probably a mater of, 'we cannot afford the cost.' The repair cost a lot more than the precautio...

Re: Bravo, Alabama Amazon workers!

I might add that the company that would 'ziggy' anyone chatting union also had a several locations in other parts of the world where the happiness quotient and healthiness of the individuals was better. They were all unionized. Seeing photos it also was clear that these sites were much cleaner and u...

Re: Bravo, Alabama Amazon workers!

One might ask the question as to how much the 'trickle down' gave you since '80's and how things got so much better since the 'Right to Work' took effect? Once a boss told us employees that he treated us right that we wouldn't see a need for a union. He was right, but I also had an employer who let ...

Re: Treasure Hunting

One time when my wife was a teacher a student at the school lost the 'outside' part of his cochlear implant. Of course the 6 year old didn't notice it fast enough to stop drop and feel around in the wood chips of the recess yard. After hours of all the adults searching the father shows up with his n...

Re: Common Sense Gun Control Measures For Michigan

Maybe the problem is that most of the gun laws are so loose and up to a judge to make the call. If It was like owning a car then the law would be cut a dry. You own a gun you need to have some kind of record of owner ship like a license and if it's lost or stolen then you are responsible to notify p...

And I thought everyone started, like me, with a crystal radio...... Then a Knight kit radio to "Tune the World". Listening to Radio Moscow claim everything was better in Russia.

Glad to see the addition of air conditioning. With more and more drugs being shipped by mail this could mean the difference of the drug working as prescribed. My sister lives in AZ and she has heard of mail delivery people passing out do to the heat.

Re: MSNBC meltdown

I remember one of the early days of MSNBC when there had been a earthquake in CA and Tom Snyder did his show from the parking lot. Another time when there was a fire in the NJ HQ and Snyder did a 6 or 7 hour gig from LA filling the time with anyone who wandered in the studio. At one point a piano pl...

My 1st was just a sore at the shot location for a couple days. I'll know more about the 2nd in 10 days...

Re: 2 California supermarkets closing after city orders pay hike

It's good PR to call the workers during a pandemic 'hero's'. Then when it's time to reward them for possibly sacrificing their health or possibly lives, it's a different story. I don't think Kroger will be pushed to bankruptcy by paying a little more in several stores. Operating Profit of $820 milli...
