So the “Department of Government Efficiency” isn’t gonna be an actual department. It’ll be some sort of outside advisory board on what to cut out. The acronym will be DOGE which happens to be the acronym for Musk’s favorite crypto currency.

The very people who Elon would toss with the trash.It also showed how some have spent years crafting better ways of predicting weather and finding people lost at sea. Some of these individuals retired during Trumps term and were not replaced.

The ace in the hole to really make this fun is gonna be Schedule F which would reclassify 50,000 civil service folks to working at the pleasure of the President. They would then be fired and replaced with folks the Project 2025 architects have been recruiting and vetting for these jobs. One can bet they don’t have the intention of finding better way to predict weather or find someone lost at sea. At that point the Federal government would he dismantled and remade in the Trumpist/Christian Nationalist image. It seems pretty obvious to me we are about to cross a rubicon that separates eras.

We have been pushing back against this effort to make the US a theocracy since 1980… I think we just ran out of time. By a long shot this will be the most radical administration in either direction to have been in power.
