If Trump didn't have a favorable SCOTUS, both Chambers of Congress, and his own cable news channel, I'd be more gentle.
And how do you think all that happened? Somebody waved a magic wand and gave Republicans control of everything? (btw, whining about Fox News is interesting considering Democrats own most other news operations).
As to eggs - it is a combination of bird flu and the new cage free law. But keep complaining about Trump if it makes you feel better.

Do you ever stop complaining?
An ironic question considering that literally 90 percent of the posts in here are people complaining about Trump. That's all this forum is any more.
Trump's a felon and a traitor who belongs in prison at best, yet he was just installed in power last week and is already breaking the law. You must be some kind of stupid to continue supporting him.

I wonder...
Nobody in this photo actually likes the guy, but they won't let integrity get in the way of profits.
283,000,000 Americans didn't vote for Trump.

I just paid $4.99 for a dozen Meijer eggs. They seem to have risen in price a little.
Weird.
I'm positive he's gonna get to food and fuel. Right after Ike Turner gets confirmed as head of the department of not beating your wife.
Bird flu is the reason egg prices are so high. It has begun to affect flocks in Michigan. It will likely be many months before egg prices return to normal. Or, this might be the new normal, similar to beef prices.
Kroger seems to be having major supply chain issues with its egg supplier(s) for its SE Michigan stores. Meijer is doing a better job.
And that’s where his bluster meets the road. He sure made enough noise to give a lot of people the impression he had invested a small fortune in a supply of magic wands. Frankly I see no reason that supply chains or bird flu or cage free egg laws should get in the way of Trumpanomics… after all he has a magic wand.

Hooray winning…
Columbias President has ordered retaliatory import tariffs on U.S. goods.
What does this mean for Columbian coffee beans?
You'd better stock up on coffee. Trump doesn't understand that it isn't the country on which he imposes tsriffs that pays the tariffs. It's the American people who pay,
The breakfast 'hat trick' is coming. Last week NPR did a story on the lack of finding people to week in the hog processing plants. The companies have been short help and now with the ICE due some have pulled up stakes and left town. Right now there are 100 job openings for every 39 people. The locals say they wouldn't mind getting aliens, legal or illegal to come work there to keep things moving.
The trifecta of coffee, eggs and bacon.
