The 'capitalist' are loosing money BUT what will it cost to fix all the undoing to just get back to a good working level after so much institutional knowledge is gone and the replacements haven't gotten the needed training to replace at the level required.
Did the FAA ever get back to normal after Ron fired all of them? A pilot friend of mine says NO! and that was how many years ago?

President Donald Trump fires Air Force General CQ Brown as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Also fired last night by Trump:

Air Force Vice Chief of Staff James C. "Jim" Slife; Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti; and the Judge Advocates General for the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

He has nominated retired Lt. General Dan “Razin” Caine to be Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He is currently in venture Capitol or something and is a real MAGA fan supposedly. Trump tells a story about the guy practically bowing down to him and then donning a MAGA hat. The highest command he had is leader of the 113th Maintanance Group. He is also not legally qualified to be Chairman but Congress can waive the requirements.

Here are the requirements:

The president may appoint an officer as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff only if the officer has served as (A) the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; (B) the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Chief of Naval Operations, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, or the Chief of Space Operations; or (C) the commander of a unified or specified combatant command.

If our two Presidents wanted to be truly transparent regarding DOGE-induced savings, the DOGE web site would contain an Excel spreadsheet, updated in real time, listing each employment position or government program that has been eliminated, along with the associated per annum savings, on a line-by-line basis. The bottom row of said spreadsheet would then contain a grand total.

A series of disjointed tweets with intentionally vague info is not what I would call transparent.
