I'm not saying I agree with it, but that is the thought. As far as Walz, what about him even remotely appeals to a conservative voter? The fact that you think it does shows how out of touch Democrats are.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 2:19 pmSo if he follows through on the threats to go on a revenge tour and order the arrest of people he doesn’t like using his new found immunity what will they say then? Picking Walz was one outreach and there are multiple groups including one run by the Harris campaign reaching out to these people. To say there is no outreach to disaffected republicans is bullshit.Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 2:16 pm Sure there are shy Trump voters. I live in an area full of them. The difference now is that most of them really can't stand Trump. But most also can't bring themselves to vote for Harris, who has done nothing to court these people. Voting for Trump for them is a vote against extreme liberalism.

Re: Does the shy Trump voter exist anymore?
He was a Democrat who won a rural conservative district in the house multiple times so it’s not hyperbole… it happened. He’s a regular guy… an actual regular guy with a lot of the demographic traits of a rural voter. He grew up there, owns a gun, can fix cars himself etc. Much attention has been paid to this. Where have you been? The people I have talked to may still vote for Trump but they came out of the debate impressed with Walz.Graham Wellington wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 2:49 pmI'm not saying I agree with it, but that is the thought. So you are hoping to prove your point with these, some of the "no publicly available stances" you mentioned:bmw wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 8:32 amThe Washington Post says you're full of shit.Honeyman wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 11:25 pm But there's also the complete idiocy of people like yourself. You think you know better than people who served with Trump as Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, VP, in the Joint Chiefs and hundreds of others who say he's unfit for office. You and others like you, who are too stubborn, too set in their ways, too fucking ignorant to even consider that these accomplished people might actually know better than you. You don't have the capability or intelligence to think for yourself. You are conditioned and must press the lever and vote for a Republican, even one as evil and as anti-American as this man. This is why you are a cult member.

What I see there is that 24 of his past cabinet members support his 2024 candidacy while 3 oppose and 15 have no publicly available stance.

The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me ... He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life.

Former defense secretary
Today’s violent assault on our Capitol, an effort to subjugate American democracy by mob rule, was fomented by Mr. Trump.
His chief of staff says he's the most flawed person he's ever met in his life, and beemer says, "Give him the nuclear codes!!"

Tim Walz and Bernie Sanders are pretty much the same person, just 15 years apart. The public has no problem with Tim.Rate This wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 3:13 amNo it isn’t. Sanders was absolutely unelectable. Liberals would have been thrilled. Independents and any crossover folks would have been terrified. Biden was the right choice for the moment. How do we know? HE WON.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 2:32 amThat’s simply untrue.Rate This wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 11:16 pmBernie was never viable nationally in a general election. Thanks to Jim Clyburn and others stifling his momentum, we got Joe R Biden.
And Biden won the election, but he lost the war against high prices. Let's hope Kamala doesn't pay for his neglect. And yes, he's not responsible for inflation, but there is something wrong when 6 grocery chains own 75% of the marketplace.

Tim Walz is likable for one thing. Bernie comes off as a yelling old man gesticulating wildly. He can't even get a majority of Democrats.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 11:12 pmTim Walz and Bernie Sanders are pretty much the same person, just 15 years apart. There isn't a whole lot one can do about the consolidation of grocery chains. Some of them simply went under. It's a rough business.

There are many people that would be better than Mrs. Emhoff. Walz from Minnesota and Kelly from Arizona would be two. How would these two fare against Trump?
