Sure there are shy Trump voters. I live in an area full of them. The difference now is that most of them really can't stand Trump. But most also can't bring themselves to vote for Harris, who has done nothing to court these people. Voting for Trump for them is a vote against extreme liberalism.

So if he follows through on the threats to go on a revenge tour and order the arrest of people he doesn’t like using his new found immunity what will they say then? Picking Walz was one outreach and there are multiple groups including one run by the Harris campaign reaching out to these people. To say there is no outreach to disaffected republicans is bullshit.

He was a Democrat who won a rural conservative district in the house multiple times so it’s not hyperbole… it happened. He’s a regular guy… an actual regular guy with a lot of the demographic traits of a rural voter. He grew up there, owns a gun, can fix cars himself etc. Much attention has been paid to this. Where have you been? The people I have talked to may still vote for Trump but they came out of the debate impressed with Walz.

You think you know better than people who served with Trump as Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense, VP, in the Joint Chiefs and hundreds of others who say he's unfit for office. What I see there is that 24 of his past cabinet members support his 2024 candidacy while 3 oppose and 15 have no publicly available stance.

And Biden won the election, but he lost the war against high prices. Let's hope Kamala doesn't pay for his neglect. And yes, he's not responsible for inflation, but there is something wrong when 6 grocery chains own 75% of the marketplace.

Tim Walz is likable for one thing. Bernie comes off as a yelling old man gesticulating wildly. He can't even get a majority of Democrats.

There isn't a whole lot one can do about the consolidation of grocery chains. Some of them simply went under. It's a rough business.
