Re: Detroit’s Broadcasting Hotties 2019

Anu Prakash is very hot with a hide a rack . Haley Vogel can go back to where she came from. Be careful critiquing Vogel. Lou Grant will come out of the woodwork like Day of the Long Knives are threaten great bodily harm upon you. It seems the only time we hear from that "handle" on here, is when s...

Re: Put A Fork In It...

…. Considering that the Democrats already know that impeachment is a dead-end road, the fact that they continue down this road is kind of ironic given what they've accused Trump of doing - namely, abusing his position of power for personal gain. That is precisely what the House Democrats are doing ...

…. "I’m hearing more opinions - from commentators and common folk - that the reason they won’t vote for Trump is: they’re tired of him …. So let's first off throw out anything you've heard commentators say. They are Clueless in Seattle about how America feels about anything. What percentage of what...

I'm not taking Warren or Bernie's side but at the same time, I know NO ONE who likes there private insurance.
I'm wondering who you know. I'm thinking no one that has a retirement package from the UAW. Or the railroad. Or any government agency.

Re: Oh PLEASE nominate Elizabeth Warren....pretty please?

The impeachment backlash has begun. Everyone needs to realize there never was an impeachment vote. What happened last week was a vote for procedure if they decide to try to impeach. Pelosi don't want to try and impeach him. But other members of her party, and most of the press, are so rabid about d...

Re: Oh PLEASE nominate Elizabeth Warren....pretty please?

What's going to spank Warren is health care. She's on the trail cheerleading Bernie's Medicare For All plan. Trouble is, most retirees are actually happy with their current medical insurance. Why would you want to take it away from them? Her entourage is pleading with her to start walking back on he...

Re: Tired of Trump?

I wouldn't be shocked if he got re-elected, I really wouldn't. If they re-elected Bush in 2004, then I say its very possible. I do think he will get re-elected because the Democrats are going to use their heads for self proctology with who they nominate. I've said it in other post, no matter who th...

Re: Network programming preemptions by individual stations

I often ponder why, instead of not showing the shows that get pre-empted, WDIV don't move them to 4-2 or 4-3 at the same time. Maybe they fear everyone will just change channels and not watch what they have replaced it with. I'm not sure it was the last time they did this, but I seem to remember thi...

Re: New Sports Radio station? About F'M time!

I dont know if there is enough on-air talent in our area to support another sports station. Jamie Samuelsen (sp?) and Valenti are the cream of the crop and can carry a show. The rest are simply competent at best and unlistenable at worst. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. What I would lik...

Re: Turner Classic Movies on Comcast

Besides TCM there is word that Starz channels will be dumped the end of the year. I've come to the conclusion ComieCast wants people to just go away. They want people to pay extra for stuff that used to be free. More and more of the channels and On Demand content that used to be free now requires a...

I'm not sure I agree it's sad news. He says he's ready to go. He's got a good spirit.
Sounds like he's made peace with God and himself.
Good news.

Re: Principal yells at student = slow news day

This is fake news. The fact channel 7 is even reporting on this "story" is shameful. Kim Russell is a hacky reporter, to say the least. 7 will report on this garbage, yet they won't report on Ford's production quality issues, hospital systems with major quality of care audit issues, or Ilitch's bro...

How about some new ideas instead of remaking shows?
There's a big draw in remaking shows.
Folks that liked it the first time tend to want to see it again.
Especially if the original cast can be talked into doing the show.

We have many people where I work that go buy their tools at Harbor Freight.
And when it breaks, they go to Stores (what we call the warehouse/tool crib) and swap it for a good quality tool.

Turkeytop's Opinion

So Turkey. Since you are a resident of our larger neighbor to the north, let me ask:
How many of your fellow Forest City compatriots are truly shocked and dismayed?
If you could survey your Comrades north of the 49th parallel, how many would say they could care less?
