In some states you cannot vote once convicted. I think it should be a nationwide law that convicted felons cannot vote.

If I remember correctly if it is under a year it is served at the notorious Rikers Island, any more off to a State Prison.

They have formulated a plan to protect him behind bars so they can't stop it but they can keep him safe.

I believe someone here said something similar. Put him under house arrest or restrict his travel. Call him a flight risk. Something along them lines that inhibits him from perusing the campaign trail.
