Veteran TE Ty Conklin has been re-signed while RB Isiah Pacheco has been placed on IR and will miss at least the first four games.

It's well known new OC Petzing loves using two and three tight end sets; it may be why the team is carrying only four WRs and now four TEs.

With Pacheco out, it'll be fun seeing pre-season phenom Jacob Saylors step in at RB occasionally.

For what it's worth to anyone here, Jon Gruden on his YouTube channel has the Saints/Lions game as his "upset special"!
Main point: He loves the Saints O-line and doesn't like the Lions defense at all.

The Lions should win but it wouldn’t shock me if New Orleans wins a close game with field goals, getting a short field because Campbell the Clown is obsessed with going for it on fourth down.

C'mon Jamo, squeeze the damn ball!

(Edit)
Sonofabitch! >:

(Edit)
Damn, damn lucky call.

(Edit)
What a bullshit call! Gibbs' knee was down! At worst it was inconclusive. :rolleyes

(Edit)
If Shough knew where he was throwing the ball this could've been ugly.

Moldy,

I'll laugh my ass off if the Lions lose in OT.

Those fucktards shouldv'e stopped New Orleans on 4th & 12 just inside of 2:00 to play in regulation.

I'm giving it up to Tyler Shough big time! His second half performance was nothing short of incredible. Those fourth down passes...! :eek

It's painfully obvious our secondary is wanting, but we already knew that. Olave is a stud receiver.

Well that was a stressful win.

And the Saints pretty much had to go for 2 there under those circumstances.

On offense, I'm not sure Gibbs can carry 95 percent of the workload week to week. I also stand by my opinion that Williams is overrated (though in fairness today, Goff threw some his most inaccurate passes his way).

Lucky as fuck.

Buffalo will score 50 Thursday.

BTW, Khalif Raymond 8 catches for 84 yards for the Bears today. Would have cost us $3M to keep him.

Was about to type this. 9-8 or 8-9.

The Lions look pretty good in the trenches on both sides, but their secondary will be garbage. Lack of WR depth as has been mentioned.
Nothing changed after today’s game. If anything, this is optimistic.
