So BMW took the original premise and warped it to make his point? That's never happened.

Are you comfortable with a President with approval numbers in the high 20's assigning his own currency? Further, he's charging a 50% markup on U. S. Currency. How does that sit with you?
283,000,000 Americans didn't vote for Trump.

Much ado about nothing. The US Mint has always sold its commemorative coins above face value, and the proceeds either go to a designated historical foundation or directly to the general fund. It's not like the money is going straight into Trump's pocket. This is how it has always worked.

Also a fun fact I found after looking more into this: Turns out a sitting President HAS been on a coin before. Exactly 100 years ago, to celebrate our country's 150th anniversary, Calvin Coolidge was on the 1926 half dollar, while still in office, along-side George Washington.

You all would be losing your shit if Trump were on a coin next to ANY past president. At any rate, the more I look at history, the more you all look like a bunch of whiners.

This is Trump’s mug shot or an attempt to recreate it on a coin by itself. There is a big difference.

Now you're moving the goal posts. We went from No living leader anywhere except 5 countries has ever been on a coin to oh, ok, it has happened way more than that but they're all despots so the point stands, to, oh, the US did this 100 years ago but it wasn't a full face image.

Actually if you put both on there the symbolism means one thing and if you put only the current guy it changes the meaning. This has nothing to do with goalposts. It’s a response to what you’re pointing out. I’m pointing out that Trump would never accept having anyone else on a coin with him.

Now that's an entirely different subject, and you're probably correct that Trump would not go for being along-side anybody.

But even if he did that, whether it was George Washington, or Abe Lincoln, or whoever - the left would still complain about it, with the additional complaint that "Trump is comparing himself to ______ !!!!"

But he would send out a truth about his being a great president alongside another great president that was second best to him on our wonderful and GREAT!!! Money.

I think it's interesting THIS is the thread to get bmw all hot and bothered to contribute. Iran, ICE, illegal elections, Epstein, economy, corruption, etc......nary a word. But now he's got something he thinks he can defend, so he's spewing his bias.

One can only hope he gives us for another Ted Kacinski like manifesto on this subject like he did on the Georgia SOS.

A roll of 25 coins will cost $61, and a bag of 100 will cost $154.50
That's some tRump math right there! Let me guess: he's taking the profits. But in beemer logic: "That's OK! He's not taking the presidential salary!" :rollin
Actually the Federal Government gets the profits. Instead of guessing wrong you could have Googled it up.
I hate Trump too but that doesn't supersede my desire to separate facts from wishes.

You're lying. You didn't bother to do the most limited homework. When I called you out your response was personal attacks and insults.

"Hot and bothered"? :lol

This thread just happened to be low hanging fruit. TDS on full display, so much so that facts and history don't matter.

And btw - you say that about every topic I comment on. And most of the time you say I haven't commented on a specific subject, I link to a recent reply where I did in fact comment, and then you just sit there quiet with nothing else to say after you've been proven wrong. I've given my opinions on every single subject you listed above (though I have no idea what the hell you're talking about when you say "illegal elections").
