Imagine your reaction if he lost.. Abdul is an underdog, if anything they have Benson and James too close. But I don’t doubt that Abdul starts in the hole.

Kind of a similar risk here as that woman who went down in flames in Wisconsin.

Not a close comparison because Hong had no support from Bernie, AOC, etc. Abdul is not DSA. The Wisconsin electorate did not vote for Bernie twice, Michigan did. She did next to no advertising on TV. She badmouthed Thanksgiving.

Abdul has already done ads for the general. The economy will crash soon, and Abdul wins by at least 10+. The turnout for Democrats was 3 to 2 against Republicans in the primary. The race is Abdul's to lose, especially after the upcoming debates. But way to sound uneducated comparing the two contests.

He’s still the underdog with what they’ll be throwing at him. At the end of the day the electorate sees him as a socialist… he knows that which is why he’s tiptoeing ever so slightly to the middle now.

He is a socialist. But he seems to be desensitizing people to the political rhetoric that surrounds Socialist. The real question is can he motivate the under 50 crowd to show up to vote. If he can do that, he will win.
283,000,000 Americans didn't vote for Trump.

Yep exactly… if he can overcome the label and get people thinking “this isn’t so bad after all” he can win. They’ve been using this since the late 1940’s against Democrats so it’s got a long track record of success.

While their news isn’t legitimate their polling is.
I share your skepticism of El-Sayed's chances, but the numbers reported here are registered numbers. El-Sayed leads by 4 amongst likely voters:
The first survey since last week’s primaries finds Rogers with a narrow 51 percent to 47 percent edge among registered voters, within the survey’s three-percentage-point margin of error, which estimates the high and low ranges for each candidates’ support.

But El-Sayed has a four-point edge among Michiganders who say they will “definitely vote,” echoing Democrats’ enthusiasm advantage this year.

That’s good news then. It’s getting close to the time where switching to likely voters is prudent.

I can’t believe people are worried about half cooked polls. You want to win? Tell your friends to vote, including your apolitical friends. I am talking to one friend who voted for Andrew Yang in 2020. He hasn’t voted since.

It turns out some of the glowing polls were released by Abdul’s campaign and he dialed it back thinking he was way up. He’s gotta learn from that.

Abdul never said that. Every single email said neck and neck with Haley Stevens. It was not his internals doing the victory lap. It was people outside,

Sure… anywho… there was also a lack of polling in the last week so kinda like Clinton and Trump if there was any kind of shift it wouldn’t have been caught.

Abdul had continually said that Stevens would be a tight race as I did. How do you think I predicted a tight race.

He has said he will beat Rogers handily. When gas prices hit $6 and the banks get pushed to the brink, it will be all over for Rogers. JP Morgan just said that prices will skyrocket when farms run out of fertilizer, which should be the end of September. Our oil reserves haven’t been this low since the 80s.

Both of those things are true. Thing is… we won’t really know until October or so which way oil is going. I’m doubting $6 gas though.

Obviously, Abdul is saying the race is close now due to trying to urge people to give money. All part of the game. But he said only the primary would be close in early July. As a candidate, it would be foolish to say your race is over one way or the other as a candidate.
