Bill Harris honored for 50 years of broadcasting
I’m surprised I’m the first to post about this here since Bill has not been shy about touting it all over social media.
He says he’s “gushing” with pride and humility. I get it. It’s called a “humble brag,” and it doesn’t exist.
What other profession honors someone for simply being there 50 years? What stories has Bill broken over 50 years? How has his reporting and/or anchoring revolutionized the industry over five decades?
I wouldn’t be surprised if there is no reply to this thread because I can’t this of any answers either.

This is a great opportunity to write “honest” promos:
Tonight at six, watch Bill Harris. He’s been here a long time.
Catch WNEM News at Six with David Custer. It’s better than a Cher concert.
Watch Dave Bondy at 11. Somebody should.
Watch ABC12 News at Six, the dinosaurs are gone for the most part.

Autoliar with another “coworker” accusation.autolab wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2019 9:07 pm Funny that HL101 continues to focus his wrath on Mr. Harris, his former coworker. No mention of Silver Circle winner Tommy Brocklehurst from ABC12.
Both Bill and Tommy are about as nice as they come in this business.
Congrats and ignore the haters. They're idiots who couldn't last 5 years, much less 25 or 50 in broadcasting.
I’M NOT BUYING IT AND NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

Guess it should be the “I’ve put up with more garbage than any of you” award.SixPlusOne wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 5:27 pmIt' simply called longevity. I worked in the business for 38 years. 2 years at one station and 36 at another. 50 is much more than I could have put up with.lovinlife101 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 25, 2019 7:13 amWhat other profession honors someone for simply being there 50 years?

What you and Bubba consentually do with any office supplies is you own business, and I will not judge you for your use of broom handles, tape, and a webcam.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 10:32 pm Oh, and the product is actually called "Rubber Cement".
Learn your office supplies.

Oh, don’t worry. Everything I do is consentual.
