Quite the fixture on Windsor radio for years!

Guy Gordan, although he seems like a gentleman, was pretty down the middle for me. Never really took an opinion on anything. I stopped listening regularly to WJR, only now for the occasional Mitch Albom show. The station doesn’t really get it anymore.

John Anthony was the morning host this morning 7-9. Sounded like it was local. Previous gig was in Chicago for Salem.

I feel if Barclay sprinkled in some local stuff, it would have been successful.

I haven’t turned on The Patriot in while until this morning. I’m hearing some changes: - FM transmitted moving to 92.7. I’m assuming it’s swapping with WLQV, where they move to 101.5 - Hugh Hewitt moving from mornings to afternoon drive 3-6. A much better alternative on my drive home. - Chris Stigall ...

Am I the only one that notices TJ Lang cannot go 30 seconds without saying 'you know what I mean?' Drives me nuts. Not sure how many segments he does on 97.1 but he's on at least every Friday for far too long. TJ and Lomas are both fanboys and I love them for what they do. Not every commentator ...

Both Ken and Kaser do a great job on their play-by-play work. We are lucky to have great commentators.

I really don’t understand why they got this guy on the radio when there are a few old sports talkers out there in the Detroit area who would be chomping at the bit at a chance.

The morning newscast is pretty good. Reminds me of Dick Haefner (sp?) from WJR that would spit out a ton of stories in a short period of time. It covers Windsor, US, international, business, etc.

The feed on the new 580 website is the exact radio feed. I haven't listened the entire day, but when I have I've only caught one pre-1970 song, "Laughing" by the Guess Who, and that was 1969. Bell is running a different feed on the old 580 website. I think the plan is to build around the morning ...

I turned in on my drive into work and on the way home. About 10 minutes each. It sounds good and some interesting conversation. I’ll give it a chance.
