It seems like both morning newscasters are gone. We used to have great radio news in Detroit.

I was thinking the same thing. He's fun to listen to but an Internet search turns up nothing. I miss Ed Coury bringing the business news too.

I seem to remember one of the TV stations in Detroit using the insrumental portion of 1960's MacArthur Park for either a news open or for promos back in the 60's/70's. Does anyone else remember that or is it just my baby boomer imagination?

Does anyone know if the CKLW documentary is still available from the producer in Toronto? I've seen it advertised on Amazon as used but I'm not sure I trust buying a used DVD and I'm likewise apprehensive about blindly sending off $37 to Toronto when I haven't received a reply back.

Is Jimmy james no longer on the station? He and his great record blend was the only reason I listed to the station since I got Sirius.
