NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
So much for Rams dominance.
Myles Garrett's effect on the game was nil. Was it the spring air down under, bad travel plans, or maybe swallowing too much of the pre-season hype? Lions take note!

Re: NFL Football 2026
What was so great about that dominating defeat is how the Rams were the media's darling team going into this season (everyone had them ranked #1) and the 49ers were considered mediocre.
Re: NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
I laid the points with the Rams.
They didn't look like they wanted to be there. Purdy completely outplayed Stafford, Shanahan outschemed McVay, Niners dominated.
I like the Lions, Bears, and Texans this week, so fade me.

The media is making excuses for Stafford, blaming the O line. He wasn’t sacked, just played poorly.

David Montgomery has 52 yards on thirteen carries in the first half against the Bills, with a long of 18 yards and two TDs.

Re: NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
I did not have the Vikings going off for 29 unanswered points with a backup QB against GB. Biggest choke of the weekend, pro or college.
Wellllll... la de frickin da
Re: NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
96 points in the Bears/Carolina game. Who would have predicted that?
Re: NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
If my memory serves me correctly, that is almost the exact score the Lions got beat by the Eagles back in the Scott Mitchell era in a 1st round playoff game. I think Philly had 51 at the half. I want to say 58-37 was the final.

Re: NFL Football 2026 (ex Lions)
It begs the question: Is it the offense or lack of defense?

Y'think Carson Wentz has earned the starting gig? Kyler Murray had his bell wrung, so we may see J.J. in uniform on the bench next week.Robert Faygo wrote: ↑Sun Sep 13, 2026 7:33 pm I did not have the Vikings going off for 29 unanswered points with a backup QB against GB. Anzalone was fucking brutal today. I'm open to Todd Bowles being freed up to watch all of his son's games in person.

Speaking of Duh Bears, I'm still bemused by how D'andre Swift can stay so healthy and perform at such a high level when he was consistently hurt in a Lions uniform.
