New WCSG lineup starting Dec 1

Unread post by dwp49423 »

WCSG has been teasing a new lineup will be announced at 9am on December 1 . Will be interesting to see what changes take place (it sounds like there will be at one new voice on 91.3). The first time I heard the tease, it was during the afternoon shift when Brittany and Zach mentioned it and that they will be splitting up as both have off air management roles in the station that also need their attention. I hope they leave Steve and Kathy together but put them back on afternoons. there was something about listening to that brother and sister while I was driving home from work.

Gotta wonder if now former Joy99 jock CeCe LaBarge is one of the additions. Personally, I hope not- there was something about her hosting style that caused me to change my listening habits from 99.3 to 91.3 about 15 years ago.

ok here's the new lineup:
Mornings are still Steve and Kathy (6a-10a)
Mid Day is Keno Greer (new person 10a-1p)
Brittany Foster is now 1-3 (formerly 3-7)
Zach Allen is now paired with Jenna Perry for the 3-7 afternoon shift
Evenings is with Garrett Michaels (new person? 7p-11p)
Overnights is with Patrick Nugent (new? 11p-5am)

Tom Nearing is either no longer with the station or now in an off air position.

Several personalities left WCSG and landed at Joy99 over the last couple years. I wonder why. Does Joy have a bigger budget for talent? Seems doubtful
