Greetings From Holiday Inn Express

Unread post by Turkeytop »

Room has a clock but no smoke detector. Just a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging out. A focus group must have told them that smoke detectors are no longer cool.

No, but the bar is adequate. These Kentucky boys love their bourbon.

One of our Canadian neighbours in Florida, stopped at gas station in Kentucky on their way back to Canada and the guy refused to sell them any gas. This is because Canada is boycotting Kentucky bourbon.

When I'm in the US I too prefer to pay at the pump. But I have to drive from station to station to station to find one that will accept my card.

My wife is a germaphobe, so she brings a can of Clorox wipes and cleans everything anytime we travel. Besides, we never use the in-room clock, since we have phones. :rollin

Why? You can't catch germs just from looking at a clock.

I've been there if it is Embassy Suites by Hilton. I believe the area was called Lexington on the Green before. It is by Joseph Beth booksellers. But I know there is a Hilton downtown.
