Is there someone new at the helm guiding the ship there for the morning show?

There are new elements there that look weird…the traffic light graphic for traffic reports, the weather “what to wear” segment (Mike Thomas showing off his Air Jordans), split-screen graphics on general news items red-bannered from “traffic central”.

I guess that I’m in the minority when I say that I prefer 62’s more traditional approach.

I never noticed and watch every morning. I did notice that they had Toolis in the studio the other day instead of on the street.

That doesn’t sound all that untraditional. 2 does 2 things and 4 has one overstuffed show with 93 people on it.

Mike TAYLOR has been wearing his Jordans on the show, pretty much, for as long as he’s been on air. I love it! His Jordans are nicer than most anchors’ “dress shoes”.
Why do you think it’s weird to use a traffic light graphic during a traffic report, or giving suggestions on what people should wear based on the weather? I watch our morning news a lot, and I don’t know what you mean by “traffic central”. Are you sure you saw that on 7?
I don’t think we do anything that I would consider non-traditional.

It’s probably the most conventional of the morning newscasts in town. The others have become semi-lifestyle shows or something.
