new in studio meteorologist at Fox17

Unread post by dwp49423 »

Fox 17 now has three IN STUDIO meteorologists. Kara James debuted this week doing weekday afternoons and evenings. Previously worked at NexStar owned WBTW (CBS 13 Florence, SC) and most recently at WeatherNation which has studios near Denver.

No word if remote meteorologist Michael Fish will be retained for weekends or if Reece Cole will split weekday mornings with Kevin Craig like Candace Monacelli did.

I hope that Fox17 ditches Michael Fish I didn't like him at all with the prerecorded weather forecast. I like Kara she has done a good job so far.

Well, unfortunately Fish was on last night (Saturday). But being that it was a late newscast due to college football, they may have used him if Reece is doing Sunday morning.

That newscast didn't begin until sometime after 11 so few people were likely watching. I base the start time on the fact that I fell asleep with the TV tuned to the game on and when I got up to answer nature's call around 12:30 and the news was on.
