Weekend morning anchor Lauren Kummer announced that August 14 is her last day at Fox17. She did not announce what her future plans are.
I swear they are dropping like flies over on Plaza Drive. I didn't think anyone could run a station worse than Tegna but Scripps is starting to prove me wrong.

Firing is probably a misnomer, since Kummer and others are announcing their departures. Maybe she is taking the institutional/corporate communications route that on-air talent can often assume.
If things are bad, you don't have to stay forever in the bad just because it's "media."

And of course, on her last day, they had her in Byron Center covering Shady "Vladimir Futon" Vance's visit, so they didn't get to give her a nice send off in-studio... *sigh*
