Michigan Election Fraud

Unread post by TC Talks »

Here's an update on some of the Nit Wit's who tried to overthrow the Michigan elections.
Some of the fake electors were local party activists, like James Renner, a Michigan state trooper; charges against him were dropped after he reached a cooperation agreement last year. He expressed regret at what had taken place, telling state investigators that he “felt that I had been walked into a situation that I shouldn’t have ever been involved in.”

Nick Somberg, a Republican congressional candidate in Michigan, is representing Meshawn Maddock, a former co-chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party, who is among those charged. In a social media post that recently surfaced, Mr. Somberg referred to Mr. Renner as the state’s “star snitch.”

That led Kristen D. Simmons, the judge presiding over pretrial hearings in Michigan, to issue a warning this week, saying she did not want “to be taking time away from my judicial duties to address comments made on Facebook posts.”

She added, “It’s juvenile, and it’s ridiculous.”

Mr. Somberg defended his comments in an interview and said he worried about the chilling effects of the case. “Are people going to be so outspoken, seeing what happened to these Republicans?” he said.

But he added, “I don’t think the election was stolen.”

I don't recall my BarBri Legal Handbook suggesting I peruse Facebook for opinions before making a judgement.

Here's another one that gave me a grin:

.... charges against him were dropped after he expressed regret at what had taken place, telling state investigators that he “felt that I had been walked into a situation that I shouldn’t have ever been involved in.” ....

Yes your honor my client was walked into participating in this nefarious deed. It wasn't his fault, okay? Move for dismissal.

The prosecutors needed a key witness, he got a better deal for cooperating.

I can’t wait until my former friend and fake elector, Clifford Frost, gets locked up.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

NEVER EVER COMPLY WITH FASCISM!!!

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Noted cunt and felon, Meshawn Maddock, wants to be the MI Republican chair:
Meshawn Maddock, a longtime conservative activist who was charged with eight felonies because of her role in the 2020 false electors plot, announced Friday that she'll run to be the next leader of the state GOP.

Michigan Republican Party delegates will choose their next chairperson at a convention in February, after Pete Hoekstra, who currently holds the job, was chosen to be President-elect Donald Trump's ambassador to Canada.

Maddock has been an outspoken ally of Trump in Michigan. She's currently one of 15 state Republicans facing forgery charges after signing a document on Dec. 14, 2020, falsely claiming Trump had won the state's 2020 election and its 16 electoral votes.

The charges, announced in July 2023, are pending in Ingham County District Court, and Maddock has pleaded not guilty.

In posts on X on Friday, Maddock vowed to to be "the biggest attack dog on (Gov.) Gretchen Whitmer and Lansing Democrats" and "the biggest cheerleader for Michigan House Republicans and President Trump"
Do all these fucking morons think felonies get wiped away if you're in a leadership position because that happened with the grifter?

Yes. They would be the type to think that being manager of the local McDonalds grants you immunity.

This will be a good test for the Michigan Republican Party to see if they have learned their lesson from the last time they handed the reins over to an insane Trump acolyte. I hope enough adults have returned to the room to keep this asshat on the outside.

OTOH, so far the only other one to have announced for that position is state Sen. Jim Runestad, so it's not like the alternative is much better? :lol
