LOL. The video Bondy posted online with the “exclusive” has now been removed. It appears that he is now trying to cover up his role in pushing this false information.

Dave seems to have forgotten the very basic rules of journalism. You have to be skeptical of the information you receive and be able to prove the facts independently.

Dave has taken the easy road on many stories recently. He claims “that’s what I’ve been told by so and so”… without actually doing the work to confirm that information. That makes Dave complicit in the misinformation campaign he claims to want to expose.

You’ve got to expect that politicians of both parties are full of $h!+ and will pass along partial information — or in this case complete falsehoods — when it benefits them. The concerning part is how fast this information gets passed around. From the Shiawassee County Sherriff, who apparently doesn’t know what’s happening in his own county, to a Republican US Senate candidate who has extensive experience in national security issues, to the former President, to Bondy who has clearly become a conservative online influencer (not a journalist as he claims)… NO ONE bothered to question claims that were easily provable.

Bondy is a hack. He does nothing to correct the misinformation being spread by his social media followers. He doesn’t follow even basic journalism ethical standards.

Not sure how long the Mackinac Center will continue to align itself with someone whose “journalism” continues to be proven wrong… Dave is clearly unemployable as a credible journalist any more.
