I have always noticed that the sound on the HD Radio signal has been very low quality and degraded compared to the Analog signal. Every once in a while, they bother to fix it and it sounds fine again, but it always ends up breaking again. As for these new issues, my guess is a bad IP link or STL. I agree with MWmetalhead, I think Audacy's budget has hit rock bottom.

Still having phone issues as recently as the last segment. I'm streaming it on YouTube so I can't tell the OTA difference.

Or maybe they will. Before they do that the sound quality of 97.1 has to be of AM radio quality.

I couldn’t tell if it was just the audio or the terrible hosts on that station.
