I did not expect to see this on my Facebook feed tonight:



I don't know how I feel about it. It's an improvement, but, I don't like that it still doesn't include the CBS logo anywhere.

The website is actually well laid out. It doesn't look like Yahoo from 2002 like most media sites...

The logo is bad, real bad. The lack of the CBS logo is appalling, I am glad "News" is NOT present in the logo. Never liked that branding on any station. As bad as this new logo is, its leaps and bounds better than the long time logo it replaced. The new logo looks like there was no thought or effort.

I am on the fence with the new logo, how ever it seems that in every news cast I hear Northern Michigan's news leader. I think it would make a great drinking game every time it's said drink a shot of liquor

Uh... A group of friends and I honestly did that back in high school... FYI, didn't take very long LMAO

Site is lightyears better. But that logo is hideous. There couldn't have been much thought put into that. Looks like something from an elementary math coloring assignment that my nephew would have done in 10 minutes.

Also reminds me of something that may have come from Sesame Street...

All in all, I'll take it over the gawdy previous logo. One thing troubles me, there is no mention on their main page that they are a CBS affiliate. It's like they are keeping it a secret. It's on their about page but still. I see no mention of their call letters on the main page either. I think the CBS Eye and WWTV/WWUP call letters should be incorporated into their logo.

I get a kick out of Bill Froelich making the announcement on the newscast about the changes... Bill is one of the reason The Comma (new nickname) is falling apart. News director, pompous man with little talent....
I am shocked he isn't anchoring all the newscasts .... he wants to be the center of attention so much....

If anyone is good at Photoshopping, how about making a mock up of the new logo by adding the CBS eye and the call letters? Maybe put the call letters under the 9 and maybe superimpose the EYE at the 9 o'clock position a little? The yellow isn't very flattering tbh.
