Really putting her life at risk being in that area. Cheap promotion at the expense of Florida families. Pointless.

I didn't see it, but I agree with both of you. That's stupid to send a local meteorologist down there for coverage. Plenty of other sources for that info.

This comes right after they sent Kimberly Gill to England for the already very heavily covered Queen Elizabeth funeral.

Why don't they just use someone from WKMG to do live shot for WDIV which didn't need to send someone for Cane Ian in my opinion?

Why would they send her down there.

I don't know if you guys know this, but Kim is a Mom. Why would they put someone's Mom in a dangerous state like that. Then adding a hurricane to the mix............

I think everyone knows Kim is a mom. SHE makes sure the viewers do.

Kim has a son that was/is going to school in that area and was heading down there regardless. It would be my guess that the powers that be, decided to send a photojournalist with her. Not a fan of the concept but I am not ready to judge on that.

I wish she’d wash away with the tied. Never liked Kim Adams. When she left last time I rejoiced.

I was being sarcastic. They overdid it telling everyone she was a mom years ago - to the point of being annoying with it.

Was watching some random FB videos of FMB damage and recognized the voice of the guy narrating his trip down the canal to find out how his house faired from Ian. It was Stephen Clark from Ch 7. Probably can find it on his FB page. I believe he said he "borrowed" a boat he found to make the trip.
