it is possible that someday they decide to just air Hannity live in afternoon drive, especially as whatever they air in evenings is going to get preempted by Guardians games 100+ times a year anyway

What the hell, sell 125 Superior, and just run Toledo remotely from Lima. It's probably cheaper, and "the suits" in Dayton are closer.

I haven't listened to Toledo radio traffic reports in forever but even about 10 years ago you could tell that wherever they were being done from wasn't local. Mispronouncing names of streets, saying "Ohio 51" instead of Monroe St., etc.

Re: New round of iHeart cuts
I think on IHeart Stations they now use street name instead of number. Today WSPD said Alexis Rd. and not OH. 184. Cumulus stations now use 2 or 3 DJS for all their stations now instead of one for each station. They go by street names too.CurlyHoward wrote: ↑Wed Jul 06, 2022 3:21 amI haven't listened to Toledo radio traffic reports in forever but even about 10 years ago you could tell that wherever they were being done from wasn't local. Jesus Christ. Every time you think it can't get worse....it does.
I've been coming to this board since 2007. Every few months since then, there's another round of cuts. Who the hell else is left to cut? The cleaning crew?
"...In other news, finally having run out of people to fire at iHeart, the radio conglomerate announced they were firing 1,200 Audacy employees."

I actually saw a part time board op opening listed on the Toledo want ads online, one for iHurtradio and one for Cumuli.
