Mikey wannabes

Unread post by BKRPDM »

Costa and Rico are starting to sound like Valenti more and more these days, IMO. Am I the only one who thinks that? With Costa, he’s even picking up some of Mike’s speech patterns….I had to stop for a minute to see if it was Costa, or Mike.

Costa has from the start. I thought that they had just brought back and renamed Kyle Bogensomething

Costa is good. He’s much better in his various appearances on the ticket than being paired with Big Drew. That pair never really messed well in my opinion. Kyle Boogey was the ultimate Mikey v wannabe.

Ive noticed it for awhile. Not just the two you mention but others as well have seemingly taken on a bit of "mike" in their on air time.
I suppose its to be expected. He is after all the dominant voice on the station. Its not exactly a horrible thing; Mike is good at his job (except when hes trying too hard to be funny) so its natural to see others be influenced. The younger ones *should* look to him for influence.
