Don't get your hopes up. They were doing some kind of top 100 alternative songs of all time. Unless it was over with by the time you heard those songs, in which case, off all bands to add...fucking STAIND??? I said HARDER rock, not MOPE rock!!!

Good additions!!!

Might be too little, too late. These are examples of artists this station should've been playing from day one.

Might shit my pants if I hear System of a Down or Tool on 98.7. LOL
Their gold selections are fucking garbage. I'm shocked they would even play those cuts, so that's a breath of fresh air.
take this job and shove it

I heard them play Cracker at the beginning of last week too by the way.

The DJ that's on before the "Church of Lazlo" is so obnoxious. "My mom can't go to Christmas Eve mass today, but she can tune in the Church of Lazlo at 3 PM."

Staind is a good band, in my opinion. Aaron Lewis is a very talented musician.
Do they play your favorite, everclear!

Indeed they do! At least two different cuts!

BTW, I heard that countdown again this afternoon. It was in song 95 or 94. I know this company/station isn't used to logic, but are they repeating every day instead of LazBlow? How are they running this? Because if they're gonna play AIC, repeat the damn countdown all the time!

I'll be shocked if this format makes it to April 1.

Which is a shame, because as a fan of "left of the dial" music, I always get the shaft with the format. It is what it is.

GREAT song. I'll have to check them out now that the "obligatory end of year countdown" has ended its loop.

I'm getting this strange feeling that they are afraid to add songs locally in fear of wading into WRIF territory. We all know the history of stations that go up against Riff. They must know, too.

Wow! Haven’t heard that one on any format in over a decade! It wouldn’t be a bad idea for “Alt” to play “Aerials”, or “Chop Suey!”. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to play a lot of Active/Alt gold from the 00s that WRIF tends to avoid (think Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Rise Against other than “Savior”).

Gimme some Coheed & Cambria, also. A7X. Sure, it's harder stuff, but Riff ain't touching it.
