So I'm just now reading this Detroit News article. So the article says that Bigby is the reason for:

" ... heavy on callers, light on guests, and non-sports talk wasn't just allowed, but strongly encouraged ... ".

Honestly, I'm not a fan of "heavy on callers". Most callers pretty much suck.

I agree. Callers rarely say anything insightful. And many times they sound bad because of being on a cell.

Functional, working adults don't have all day to wait in a queue to speak to a sports jock. The very model lends itself to mostly derelicts calling in.

Yes, Tom worked at Musicradio WXYZ in the mid 1970s. There is an aircheck of his on www.mcrfb.com.

Bigby responsible for launching WIP/Philly. Consulted all of the Infinity/CBS sports stations.

Most callers sound like they're mongoloid. I've turned the volume down on numerous occasions listening to the Ticket
