9&10 New Graphics Package

Did anybody catch the new 9&10 News at Noon intro and graphics package? (However that gaudy LOGO is still the same). Also a different voice is used.

Agreed, just wish they'd have changed that hideous logo.

Haven't seen it (although I'm on the east side of the state now....). I don't think they'll ever get rid of that logo as long as Mario Iacobelli has control of the station. I heard somewhere that he personally designed the current logo

Here I thought it was the "genius" consultants at Frank N. Magid Associates who dreamt it up. It was probably a collaboration of sorts.

Saw the new graphics on Michigan This Morning today. I like the cleaner, less-busy look--but the font used is absolutely nondescript. I liked the old font better, even if it's pretty much the same as what CBS used for The NFL Today back in the early '90s.

That logo just has to gooooo! It's one of the gaudiest logo's I've ever seen!

I found a clip on youtube, and I agree the graphics are much cleaner. Would love to see something like that over here in the Tri-Cities DMA.

However, I can tell you unequivocally Tom was not responsible for the current logo. In fact, he did design all the previous logos that many here seem to appreciate.
