Deleted Users?
Seems lately I'm seeing a lot of posts from "deleted users". I don't recall seeing these in the past. Are these people who have been banned for one reason or another, or have they just canceled out their accounts?

Re: Deleted Users?
Yeah they're all from the same user. He creates a new account every month and makes hundreds of posts, then deletes. It really clutters things up.
Re: Deleted Users?
It looked at one time as though at least one of these 'deleted user' accounts was still posting, but perhaps I was seeing things. Or there's a bug in software?
It would be really cool if there was a "Purge" option to flush 'em.

Re: Deleted Users?
I guess I don't understand the logic deleting one's own user account. Seems like it would make more sense to just stop posting with that screen name and let it be. I believe M.W. goes periodically reviews the user accounts list and purges those that have gone dormant from the database (i.e. not made any posts over a long period). Why go to the trouble when you can just choose not to post with that screen name?

Re: Deleted Users?
Simpler solution: delete the delete option.
Psalm 139:13 ~ For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
Jeremiah 1:5 ~ "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you;
Exodus 20:13 ~ “You shall not murder."

Re: Deleted Users?
I always thought that when someone deleted their user account their posts disappeared off the board. Perhaps nobody's done it up to now. Always a new trick I guess.NS8401 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 07, 2019 12:49 amMaybe to then lurk and watch us speculate?Calvert DeForest wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 11:23 am I guess I don't understand the logic deleting one's own user account. Huh, NS8401 quit too. He was a good egg.
I seem to have a few ignores that are posting non-stop.
