It was always imported from Denmark. But looking at the can today, it now says, in the smallest print possible, it's brewed at a non-union brewery in Ontario.

Carlsberg Lite. This will be the last time I ever buy it.

Looks good in the glass. I think "LITE" would have prevented it from hitting my cart in the first place.

So it looks like this one has stumped everyone. It's Old Style Pilsner, one of Molson's third tier dicount brands.
It's a good beer, but most people don't even know about it. It gets zero advertizing or promotion.
Oddly though, Molson did pay for product placement in the long running TV sitcom Corner Gas.
Whenever the characters on the show were drinking beer, it was always Old Style Pilsner.
