You can get Labatt Blue in the US, but it's actually a Molson product. When AB merged with Labatt, US regulators approved it on the condition that the Company couldn't brew any product in Canada for the US market.

So they contracted out the Labatt Blue brand to arch rival, Molson. You can be sure they wouldn't have given their recipe to Molson. Molson is simply slapping the "Blue" label onto one of their own products.

Is Molson Golden still brewed?

CSBC. PG-13, or maybe the dunkel.

Had a few steins of this @ Oktoberfest last week...

Excellent! Cedar Springs Brewery's Küsterer Export. One of our favorite breweries. They even have delicious schnitzel.

CSBC looks to have much the same bier menu as Küsterer Brauhaus, located on the west side of GR:

https://grbrauhaus.com/

From the looks of things, they may even be the true source of that beer of yours... :blink

As for the bottle I posted, sans any guesses...

Cedar Springs Brewing in Cedar Springs owns Küsterer in GR. The Cedar Springs location has a full food menu and the full beer lineup, while the GR location is smaller, with a small food menu and not as many taps.

We go to both regularly. :hat

I just tried Pabst Blue Ribbon Extra. I feel it could be a malt liquor. It was just OK. Probably wouldn't buy it again. Regular PBR is much better. Found it in Lapeer. Last week I tried a ton of beers from Total Wine in Grand Rapids.

You can but you have to stop at Duty Free and pick it up yourself after visiting Image Canada by way of the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel or the ambassador bridge

I just had my first Molson Export in over 20 years. If it were available in the US, it would be my everyday beer.
