I heard the news and knew this thread would light back up. I think JJ will be the next Drew Stanton. He's always going to be a serviceable backup. I wouldn't be mad if the Lions took a flyer on him. Ultimately, I think Harbaugh would love to have him as a backup for the Chargers.

Your comparison is hardly valid. Drew Stanton was the 43rd pick in the draft; JJ was 10. The Vikings even traded up to get him.
