Cavaliers getting new affiliates, WCWA among them.
The Cavaliers have reached a new deal with WTAM/WMMS, which includes new affiliates, including WCWA. The station will air select games, meaning games are likely to be preempted if there's a conflict with the Hens or Walleye.

It’s possible one team goes to WSPD when there’s a conflict, unless all three are playing at once.radioandtventhusiast wrote: ↑Wed Oct 07, 2026 10:44 pm The Cavaliers have reached a new deal with WTAM/WMMS, which includes new affiliates, including WCWA. The Walleye and Hens pay for airtime so they have priority. Don't forget that WSPD also airs UT and Guardians games so it's more likely the Cavs just don't air if there is a conflict. In years past when WCWA has had either the Cavs or the Pistons I don't recall them ever having games on WSPD at all.

WCWA also has UT women's hoops, while WSPD has the UT men.

Also true, and UT also pays to air so they have priority. So yeah, "select games" for the Cavs is correct phrasing for sure
