Yet another Fox 17 departure

Unread post by teetoppz28 »

Say goodbye to reporter Waleed Alamleh...

Per Janice Allen's post on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14oxhXKMgiT/
Another FOX 17 goodbye 🥲

It’s Waleed Alamleh Fox 17’s last day. We are going to miss his excellent reporting, solid work ethic, and fun personality in the newsroom. He did such a great job covering Kentwood/Wyoming and Byron Center for us— among many other important stories and topics. Wishing him all the best in the next adventure

According to their website:
FOX 17 Neighborhood Reporters: Waleed is still listed so right it shows 10 which will drop it to 9 however former Fox17 sports anchor Zach Harrig recently shared a FB post from Matt Wilkos stating he will soon be leaving not just the station but the journalism field, so let's say 8 neighborhood reports are (or soon will be) left.

FOX 17 News Staff (Anchors): 3

FOX 17 Meteorologists: 3

FOX 17 Morning Mix: 3

Well that’s all folks! After 2 amazing years here in West Michigan my time with FOX 17 has come to an end. When I started here in September of 2024 I had no idea the life long friends and opportunities that would come with this station! From covering my first presidential election, to traveling the state reporting on some of the most important topics, reporting in neighborhoods and telling stories of people from hundreds of cultures, to even winning my first Emmy! There’s so many amazing memories to recall, but some of the best actually happened off air! Building connections with so many amazing people, that I will call friends for life! I don’t know what the future holds but I am happy to say my 2 years here will be remembered for a life time ❤️ thanks to everyone who had apart in it!
Good luck in the future! You were one of the few good ones at that channel...
