Flint Firebirds Drop Terrestrial Radio

In a not so surprising move, the Flint Firebirds will not longer be airing radio casts over the air, but they will be on the internet radio app, Mixlr. This includes both home and away games.

I doubt they had much of a choice. AM radio in Flint is completely dead, but for a religious station or two, and no FM station in a market of Flint's size is going to preempt music programming for junior hockey.
Flock Cameras violate the Fourth Amendment, are prone to inaccuracy, are prone to misuse, and are prone to hacking.

Apparently they were on WQUS prior to the (more or less) 97.1 simulcast. They could always fire 1570 back up and air games but it’s clearly not worth it.
