At night I am hearing B.I.N. on 640 AM from Atlanta for the first time in this area. CFCO used cover it up in Sarnia for years. I often hear something on 620 as well. On 630 itself there is activity, but all the stations have been too weak to make out. That means that 630 has an excellent nightime interference factor. 540 tends to be like that as well, but there are numerous technical limitations. 530 CHLO Brampton/Toronto, 550 WGR Buffalo and 560 WRDT Monroe/Detroit have to be protected in addition to some co-channel broadcasts on 540.
Bear in mind 640 in the Chicago area is also part of the BIN network.

I'm unsure if you heard anything allowing you to verify which of those two stations you actually heard.
640 in Chicago is the former WMFN from Zeeland. In fact, it still has the WMFN calls and has a good signal in Grand Rapids 24/7.
