Lets be real. No disrespect to anyone at 7, but they will hire some kid from Grand Rapids or Milwaukee at 90-100K. They changed the title from Sports Director to anchor/reporter in the posting. Thats a way to bring someone in for less money. A sports director position would command more.

Galli had only been a goddamn intern when he started doing on-camera stuff at 7. So in that way at least they'll have some actual experience. No slight on him at all but he was never anywhere else. 4 Years later he was Sports Director after Leyden left. Arguably from an experience perspective that's much worse or even since a lot of these folks have 3-5 years experience in some small market and have to go through major development there before they are good. That said whoever coaches them at 7 mostly improves them a lot. There were a few really goofy exceptions last decade.
