WELL INTO THE 70S SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY!!!!
Prepping my shorts and tee shirts now.
Anyone else?
Anything above 66 is shorts weather to me. Very happy about it.
It’ll be interesting to see how it shakes out… Metro’s highest listed reading was 81 at 2pm. Very impressive. The app on my phone called for 77 and cloudy. Had some real blue skies for a bit this afternoon. I was helping a friend move some stuff and it got positively hot.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Apr 12, 2026 4:59 pm I agree. I've seen some observations with gusts near 40 mph in SE Michigan.
The Grand Rapids NWS office had a better handle on wind gusts in its zone forecasts than the Pontiac office.
Other locations that have reached or exceeded 80 degrees today:
Adrian
Ann Arbor
Detroit City Airport
Lambertville
Lapeer
Troy
At Noon, it was only 54 degrees in Troy!
The criteria for issuing one is scattered or widespread wind gusts in excess of 45 mph.
