There has also been consternation among staff, one source said, that beloved meteorologist and colleague Kim Adams, who is dealing with undisclosed health issues, was replaced on the 11 p.m. broadcast and faces more uncertainty with the recent addition of a new meteorologist from the Flint station.

Hmm. Makes me wonder if the Adams speculation in this article is coming to light. Nevertheless, congrats to Christina.

Christina is an excellent meteorologist and did a great job at ABC12. She appears to be very friendly and being attractive is just a bonus. Good luck to her!

Just saw her on 6 PM news And Ron Hillard is moving to 11 Pm News, not sure if only on weekends or nightly.
She did a good job and thanked all involved with bringing her home.

I do miss Paul Gross. I didn't always agree with his on-air remarks, but he was a skilled forecaster.

Why does Brett Collar appear on-air so seldomly? I think his on-air work is better than that of Schuerman and Hilliard.

I am unfamiliar with Burkhart.

From what I read somewhere Collar isn’t there anymore… maybe that is incorrect.

Started a wedding decoration business with her sister as a side job but mainly became a meteorologist for a green energy company. She also filled in more than a couple of times at ABC12, doing the news on weekends when their anchor was on maternity leave and also did a week doing the evening news when the Chief Meteorologist was off.

She’s been missed since she left ABC12 and it was nice to see her make those occasional appearances

For some reason on Monday, Kimberly Gill explained on-air that Christina joined the weather staff (and named all of them), is not replacing anyone, and that she is “filling in for Kim.”

I’ve found her forecasts to be good. She has a good speaking voice and nice delivery.

Burkhart's high temp forecast for Thursday through Saturday that I just saw is too optimistic, especially for Friday and Saturday.

She is calling for low 40s Friday and low to mid 40s Saturday.

Actual high temps will probably be in the mid 30s both Friday and Saturday.

NWS wants 41, 38 and 44 respectively.

Fox 2 is calling for highs of 35 and 37, respectively.

Those numbers are reasonable based on model data, which has been pretty darn consistent for at least the past two days, as well as climatology.

I am in agreement with Fox 2.
