It also appears they were looking for red and black paint related to a string of vandalism incidents on prominent folks related to U of M. Let’s not run around acting like there’s a good side in this Hatfield and McCoy fest. All sides of that conflict and all of the people passionate one way or the other suck. But in listening to all of the various folks the grand prize goes to the student protestors. They really suck. Warrantless? Did you even read the article you posted?
This, to me, sounds like an attempt to solve some well documented actual crimes that occurred. As someone that is admittedly frightened by these types of things, I would have expected you to be in full support of solving criminal activity that is solely meant to terrorize.
