Re: Another change in South Bend
Whatever this new format is, it's not Classic Hits. Not in the sense that WGTO was prior to adopting the MeTV format.
Here's a six-song sampler from the stream:
Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved followed by a liner promising "the best mix of the '80s, '90s and today"
Madonna - I'll Remember
Taylor Swift - 22
Journey - Separate Ways followed by a liner promising "South Bend's Variety Station"
The Script - Both Ways
Maroon 5 - Wake Up Call
In essence, this is Sunny 101.5 with a much deeper, more broad-based playlist. Maybe a cross between AC and Adult Hits.

Re: Another change in South Bend
That song set looks like something WNIC or WFMK would play.
Fans of MeTV FM will not like the new sound at all.
What I'm hearing right now almost sounds Hot AC.
The imaging sounds pretty good, in my opinion.
Edit - now I'm getting more of a Variety Hits vibe. Good call, Chris. I'd say your format description is spot on.

Trump is too stupid to know what "reciprocal" means.

It sounds like 100.5 the river before they became more like WFMKChrisWL1980 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 6:42 pm Whatever this new format is, it's not Classic Hits. Not in the sense that WGTO was prior to adopting the MeTV format.
