What did MAGA learn from 2020? They didn't learn that reciprocal lesson you cite, and instead went more extreme and it led to 2024, and now we are where we are. I'm not concerned about the left being "far left" for MAGA's sensibilities today, although long term, I'm concerned about extremism. Most of my life, I've been against "far" extremism on either side, but after 2020, part of me wants to fight fire with fire.

Do you really think that Democrats will convince Trump voters to switch over by putting up the most extreme left candidate they can find? They need to go moderate to get the sane ones who plugged their noses and voted for Trump this time. AOC won't convince them to do so.
