No surprise. Proposed contour map decently covers Kent County. Windsor and Detroit won't get anything.
The AM band in Canada continues to dwindle.

im guessing why it will only be 1250 watts on 91.3 because they know WGTE in Toledo WILL interfere, itll probably have a null to the south on top of that. Its probably also why 99.1 is only 3Kw because of Eagle 99 in Fremont

I do not believe the "expensive repairs are needed" excuse these Canadian broadcasters use as reasoning to silence their AM stations.
In my opinion, they simply want to move to FM (or gain better FM facilities) because so few people use AM radio. Why bother with upkeep costs for an AM transmitter and related equipment when silencing those transmitters will result in zero revenue loss?
540 sounded perfectly fine aurally and strength wise, yet CBC used the "costly repairs" line of bullshit years ago.
Same is true of 630 today.
Probably only a matter of time until Blackburn Media finds an excuse to remove 1070 CHOK from the airwaves.

Trump is too stupid to know what "reciprocal" means.
