The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 is a law that allows the U.S. president to detain or deport non-citizens from countries that are considered enemies during times of war or conflict. Is there not a war and or conflict going on between one of our staunchest allies and Hamas?

That is war or conflict between us and some other country and it has to be a declared war to boot. Israel fighting some war with somebody does not meet that test.

The irony is Rubio's family escaped human rights oppression in Cuba. Rubio is now enforcing incarceration policies that are a lot more Cuba-like than U.S.-like.

The administration is full of shit regarding its claim of "being unable" to get this man back. The El Salvadoran government would release him instantly if ICE requested it (and if ICE arranged a return flight to the U.S.).

Remember, folks. Federal law enforcement once claimed fans of ICP were a "dangerous gang.". Very weird people out of touch with the real world hold important positions.
