You might be right. Was walking on the boardwalk yesterday and walk past an old-timer with a cane wearing a Florida ballcap. Told him his Gators look good, and we might meet in a couple weeks pointing to the MSU t-shirt I had on. "Love Izzo!" he says.

I think the in-state rivalry definitely gets in the way of acknowledging respect for Izzo from an objective standpoint. The amount of Michigan fans who would rather {redacted} the current President's [redacted] than to acknowledge Izzo's success as a coach is staggeringly high.
