Successor ideas? I know NBC has paired Savannah Guthrie with Holt to anchor presidential debates, election night, etc. While I think she would be a great successor, I can’t imagine NBC wanting to pull her from Today shortly after losing Hoda. My prediction is it goes to Tom Llamas. He used to pull in great ratings when subbing for Muir on ABC.

Those 45 second intros at the beginning of the show and the 30 second reminder at the end reminding viewers to tune in next week and to stay tuned for the local news will no doubt consume the majority of his time.

The recent changes to CBS Evening News have made it unwatchable.

The two anchor format is awkward, and John Dickerson by far is the weak link. What the hell is he even doing there? He was also horrible during the network's political convention coverage last summer.

The graphics look like they've been imported from the 1990s.

When they announced Dickerson and DeBois were anchors I was shocked. Why?? Bringing Jeff Glor back instead of firing him would have been a much better option.
My vote for CBS at this point would be Anderson Cooper.

Jeff Glor was excellent. DeBois would also be fine if he weren't burdened by Dickerson.
