I debated with myself whether to post this or not, but ultimately decided I'm going to, albeit in a much shorter response than what I had originally typed up. I think about all I'm going to say is that my reason for stepping away from here is that of my own mental health; that some of the insults directed towards me as of late were just too similar in nature to some of the insults directed towards me in what has been a challenging personal matter I've had to deal with for about the past 8 months or so (one I've never discussed in here before). That matter has finally been resolved as of yesterday (HOORAY) and so also stepping away from here just feels like something I need to do.

Sorry if I've been acting like, I'll use Honeyman's word here - a pussy - lately. I know what the forum description says, and so I get it. All I'll say is that every person has their limits. And sometimes when you're dealing with stupid stuff in real life (or just getting past it), participating in a forum of this nature just isn't the best idea.

I'm not outright deleting my account but I'm still done posting here. I know I said permanently - I hope it's not permanently, that some day I will feel comfortable posting here again - but that certainly isn't going to be any time soon (and I don't need counseling, it isn't anything like that, just in case anybody got that impression after reading this).

Until we meet again....

My goal was certainly not to kick you while you were down. I’m sorry.

Two weeks after the Department of Justice, now under new leadership following Donald Trump's reelection, moved to dismiss their appeal of Trump's classified documents case, a circuit court formally dismissed the appeal of a case that once accused the president of mishandling some of the nation's most sensitive secrets.

The dismissal marks the end of a series of federal criminal cases that once dogged Trump's political future.

"Appellant's 'Unopposed Motion to Dismiss Appeal' is GRANTED. This appeal is DISMISSED," said the one-page order issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.

So, did you pull that stat out of your tight, lily white, Traverse City ass? Better be careful to site a peer reviewed source or you butt buddy Twee twop will quit giving you reach arounds.

I won't apologize for being at a higher intellectual level than you. You STILL have not posted the source of the data from which the bullshit list you posted was derived.

Until then, keep making teenage boy level insults. Oh wait, didn't you (just yesterday, in fact) post something about attacking the person?

Why yes, yes you did!
Hugh Jorgan wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2025 10:27 am There is a big difference between attacking an idea or position and attacking the person. Seems to me when the radicals among us can't defend a position, they result to insult and ridicule of the person that challenges it. Personally, I think that's unacceptable and show intellectual weakness.

But, it is out of the playbook....

He also tried to claim he was new to this board and didn't understand how it all worked, yet, he seems pretty familiar with where people are from and the personalities here.
I'm sorry, but I'm new to this board. Is it proper etiquette here to jump into responses directed at someone else?

Trump is supposed to announce the BIG tariffs today at 1. This will be the opening shot in a trade war. I see where Canada is promising 100 percent tariffs on all Tesla's.

I think it's hilarious the Catch-22 Elon has put himself in: those who would drive an electric vehicle hate Elon so they'll buy another brand and those who love Elon hate electric vehicles. So, in the end, who is going to buy a Tesla in future? :hat

I hope you’re shown more compassion than you offered when I was undergoing some mental health issues. Karma’s a bitch baby.
