This came from a post from the Regional News Director who was the “brains” behind WEYI’s “Mid-Michigan Not NOW!” rebranding and mass layoffs.
Now that he’s done decimating our station, he’s moved his show on to other Sinclair station and celebrating his successes at the annual whites-only News Director reprogramming conference.
Maybe one way to make local news a little more relevant is to get rid of the old white guys club and get a little more diversity in the voices producing the news and making the community coverage decisions.

Yes, I believe unions can only help improve these two stations. It’s obvious that Sinclair and Allen Media aren’t serious about growing these two stations.

Yes, I believe a Trump led FCC can only improve the regulatory conditions that currently limit local TV stations.
